How to Use PNSC-2 Tool
PNSC-2 Operation
Combination tools are considered the most cost-effective strapping tools as they do three functions at the click of a button. One tool is the PNSC-2, Signode’s pneumatic push type combination tool. This tool is very user friendly and has easy-to use options for various kinds of applications.
The PNSC2 is known for its precision and this tool is highly recommended for use on round and irregular loads. Weighing about 9.5 pounds, the tool has a duck bill nose and uses it to push the seal. The feedwheel is an important part of the tool that actually pulls the tension, then the jaws notch the seal.
The PNSC-2 is known to pull about 700 pounds of tension to steel strapping. It has a two button control system which is very easy to operate. The strap slides out easily after every strapping cycle. As it is composed of metal alloys and can withstand extremely hard conditions it is a very popular tool. It is also very durable and reliable.
Advantages of PNSC-2

After threading the strap through the seal, wrap the strap around the load. Then remove excess slack and pull the opposite end back through the seal over the top of the original strap. Holding the tool in one hand and the strap in the other. The foot is then lifted using the lever and to slide the strapping in. Slide the tool as far as possible in order to ensure proper tight tensioning.
Once the appropriate level of tensioning is reached, the tool will automatically stop. Now press the sealing button to start the sealing process. After sealing the tool stops on its own after which cut the strap with the tool and then release.
